Christmas Vacation Part 2
Wednesday 29th December 2010
Well, a lot has happened since my last post and I will update you, but not necessarily with words, but more through a pictorial update.
When we last caught up, we had just finished 3 days in Vancouver, Canada and were en-route to spend a White Christmas with our daughter, her boyfriend and his family in Lake Chelan, Washington State, USA.

Now it didn't snow on Christmas Day, but as you can see there was plenty of snow about to add to what was a wonderful day.

Our trip is a mixture of both business and pleasure and during our time here in beautiful Lake Chelan, I had the opportunity to spend time with, and talk to the Chelan High School, Women's Basketball Team.

The team has had a less than ideal start to the season (1 win, 6 losses) but last night they played their opening game of the local Holiday Tournament.
Their opposition, Cedar Park Christian School, were at that stage undefeated throughout this season, however to the Chelan girls credit they came out very determined to turn their season around and turn it around they did!!
An emphatic victory was secured when Chelan beat the Cedar Park Christian Eagles 63-22. All twelve players who suited up for Chelan scored points and held the opposition to just 2 points in the final quarter.
Yesterday morning I was interviewed by local radio station, KOZI 100.9FM. We had chat about my background, what sort of work we did at Total Performance Concepts and what I would be talking about during a presentation I will be making at Riverwalk Books on Thursday evening on behalf of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce.

Now after the pressure of the radio interview the Nelson boys thought it was not only appropriate, but a necessity that we took some R&R so we headed up to Echo Valley (approx. 15 min drive from downtown Chelan) for some fun on the snow slopes.

More to come in the next few days.
The Journey Continues!
