It has often been said that:

Some people see things happen

Some people make things happen

Some people say what happened

Which category are you going to be in today? You see the reality is that on way to many days we are so entrenched in what we need to be doing that we miss something that could provide significant benefit to our lives.

Sometimes these opportunities are very evident but our insecurities, shyness, or lack of motivation or self belief hold us back from getting out of our comfort zone and pursuing the opportunities that have been presented.

Sometimes these opportunities of life are not as evident, however they are still there, and if we take the time and make the effort to have to have one eye on the prize and the other searching for opportunity they will be easily recognised.

And finally there are those opportunities that even with both eyes searching they are somewhat difficult to uncover.

Each and everyday there are wonderful opportunities for us to take and make and in doing so adding to the wonderful experiences of life. What form they will present themselves in for you today or tomorrow I am not sure, however I am sure they will be there.

Take a minute now to think through the past week how many opportunities did you miss? How many times did you hear family and friends talk about something important and you thought to yourself where was I when all this went down?

What about reading you local paper or listening to the local radio station and something is mentioned about an event that took place in your community and you are standing there thinking how did I miss that?

I could go on and on and I guess you can to, on where and how you missed something of significance in the past week or so. The point of this is not to dwell on the past, but learn from it so that you don't miss anything that life has to offer.

Opportunity and benefit will come in many different guises be ready to take an make the most of all of them.
