Some of the most common questions
in regard to performance coaching is how, when and where. Once again
there is no predetermined protocol. We do what we have to do when we
have to do it. Make sure you remember this, as it will come into play
a lot more often than just how we communicate. "We do what we have
to do when we have to do it!"
It does not matter that we don't live
anywhere near each other. We have successfully helped people interstate
and overseas. We are aided by modern technology and we should use it
to our greatest advantage.
The usual means of communication are:
Phone
We make sure we have regular phone contact with each client at a predetermined
regular time. How often we communicate by phone depends on which coaching
plan you decide upon.
Fax
Within reason we allow our clients unlimited fax contact. But as we
offer this service to all our clients you must understand that it doesn't
mean instant response. In most cases reply time would be within 24 hours.
You must remember to make sure to let us know which fax number you want
us to reply to. As this prevents others seeing what is confidential
information.
E-Mail
Primarily the same as the fax. Within reason unlimited e-mail contact.
With a reply time of within 24 hours.
On-site
This is for our business clients who like us to come in and spend time
in their environment with their staff. It allows us to see you at the
place you operate and gives us a better insight to the types of situations
you encounter and deal with on a daily basis. Meetings differ from client
to client, sometimes we meet as a team, other times we meet with individuals.
Individual meetings
This is the personal performance-coaching equivalent of the business
onsite meetings. Where we meet is different in each case. Some clients
like to meet at work during lunch. Others like to meet at the park or
the beach. Whatever environment you feel comfortable in, is where we
meet.
Teleconferences
Every so often we put together a teleconference and bring along a special
guest presenter. The content and interaction has always been very well
received by not only the clients but the presenters as well. It is a
great opportunity to communicate with like-minded people. We find that
the clients tend to make strong professional relationships out of these
conference calls.
Our programs include some or all of these
methods. A lot depends on the type of coaching program you select as
being right for you. But in saying that if a situation comes up where
you need help, you just get on that phone and we will be there to help.
